Injection Training

Because RAPTIVA is a biologic, it needs to be administered subcutaneously. Proper training can ease the physical and psychological burdens your patients may have regarding injections. Use the materials here to help your patients learn the ins and outs of taking RAPTIVA.

• Injection Training Checklist (PDF):
• Use this guide as a reference when you're teaching your patients about administering RAPTIVA. It highlights important tips and resources your patients can use when they're ready to give their weekly injections.

• Injection Instructions (PDF):
• Along with face-to-face instructions from a trained healthcare professional, every patient will receive detailed written injection instructions when they get their first dose of RAPTIVA. Read through them before you start training your patients, to prepare for any questions.

• Every patient will also receive this brochure with their injection kit. It includes an overview of side effects and helps to set patient expectations of how RAPTIVA works over time. It's a piece that you may want to expand upon during training.

Injection Kits: Patients who are ready for injection training may be both excited and anxious to get started. To help make the training go as seamlessly as possible, it's a good idea to have some extra injection kits handy in case they forget to bring their own.
