It’s a philosophy that we take personally. Insurance issues can be confusing and challenging. RAPTIVA Access Solutions is here to make the process as easy as possible. When you or your doctor’s office calls Genentech Access Solutions, you will connect with one of our experts, whose sole job is to make sure that you get the coverage or reimbursement help you need.

Depending on your health insurance benefits, a Specialty Pharmacy may start working for you next.

Once RAPTIVA Access Solutions has confirmed your coverage, it may also start working for you with one of the Specialty Pharmacies in the Genentech network. A Specialty Pharmacy is not like your typical neighborhood pharmacy; they will call you every month to arrange shipment of your RAPTIVA right to your doorstep, or they will automatically ship your RAPTIVA to your doctor's office-whichever you prefer. Your Specialty Pharmacy also will ask how you're doing with your treatment, or answer any questions you may have. Working with a Specialty Pharmacy is another helpful resource provided by Genentech-to ensure that you make the most out of your treatment with RAPTIVA.

To maintain your privacy, if RAPTIVA Access Solutions or a Specialty Pharmacy needs to reach you by phone and you are not available, they may leave a brief message on your answering machine or voicemail simply requesting that you return their call. Please do so as quickly as possible to keep the process going.

So you've been approved for RAPTIVA. Now what?

When you're approved for RAPTIVA, you will get FREE at-home injection training. Either RAPTIVA Access Solutions or your Specialty Pharmacy will help to arrange it for you-or if you prefer, you can have it done at your dermatologist's office. Additionally, you will also learn how to store and prepare your RAPTIVA. Then you're all set to give yourself your weekly injections. Remember, it is important to receive your training even if you have experience with another injectable medication.
